The situation is I have a remote site that has a Cisco 5506-x primarily acting as our edge device and for our IPSec VPN back to our main branch networks. We recently got a backup ISP for redundancy and I have configured the second fail over external interface along with SLA tracking on the main static route to fail-over to the secondary if there is an outage. The problem comes when I create a duplicate IPSec VPN (both going to mainbranch office) that uses the backup external interface, the ASA will create it then remove it. Can an ASA not have two IPSec VPN's going to the same remote IP?
