She got double mastectomies and then got implants to replace the lost tissue because she was at risk of cancer. But she did choose that. Do you believe all girls should get double mastectomies at birth because it’s quite less painful than later on in life. Why don’t you just let HIM choose?” Then she said “you are being ridiculous. Girls getting mastectomies you are crazy. No man is going to choose such a thing on his own but if he’s cut he’ll see the benefits and then his son is cut and so on.”

I playing devils advocate said “why wouldn’t he choose it?” And she said “well obviously people don’t have surgery unless it’s necessary so the only way to do this is now when I can make a better decision for him.”
