Need some advice
Post Body

So I work at a very small store. This store doesn't have the food (pizza ect) like most. We also aren't open 24 hours a day and close down shop at midnight (I am the only full time closer) we have an elderly women (in mid 60's to 70yo) who isn't capable of doing her tasks and daily duties (such as change out soda boxes and take out inside and outside trash) so these tasks don't get done in the mornings or during mid shift. And my store manager makes me (3rd shift) handle these tasks.

And lately it feels like I'm the soul person who's responsible for doing these tasks. My SM even tells fellow 2nd shift co-worker to not do these tasks so they can save them for me when I get in

Just yesterday we had a very nasty thunderstorm and I didnt do outside trash at all due to it not feeling safe and heard the next day that my SM was very upset about that and was quoted to say "it's just water"

My question is, is there something wrong with this? The second shift co worker usually stays with me till 8pm (leaves early all the time though) so for the remainder of the shift (midnight) I'm by myself alone in the store till close (and even longer due to my co worker leaving early)

Shouldn't the trash be done on all shifts? Is it wrong to not get mad at an employee for being incapable of doing tasks due to age? (Even though we sign an agreement prior to employment stating we can do these tasks) and save all the work till I come in? Need some helpful opinions! Thanks in advance.
