I work overnights and my store doesn’t have a food captain so we have to cook food for the morning shift. We have stand of freezers(hot dogs/tornados/mini tacos) that no one wants too close properly during the day so they get left open to were the food thaws out and becomes warm(over 8hrs of the freezer being open). I refuse to put any of that food out due to someone potentially getting sick. And I got told if I don’t put food out I will get written up. Everywhere I worked at always bad merchandised it and called it a day but my store manager is adamant on putting it out due to her audits getting messed up if I wasted out all the food in them Also district manager and store manager are buddy buddies so can’t go to them
So what do I do if get written up?
