So I got threatened yesterday for termination for locking the doors on third shift when using the bathroom for 5-10mins and when we get our truck (which is about 1 1/2 locked) so I can check it in and put certain items away in the back room. All because so customer tried coming in and they called corporate saying I had the store locked for 2 hours which is is bull. Theirs multiple circle k’s in my area that the overnight people lock the entire store for the night and I’m the only one getting in trouble? So now I can’t lock it for any reason at all, also the store I work at is high risk for theft, people walk out of the store during the day with cases of beer when theirs multiple people working so I don’t see why I cant lock it for 5-10mins to use the bathroom or checking in their truck. Am I in the wrong?
