Didn't enjoy this very much. It smelled like stale pipe tobacco pre-light. The first one I pulled out of the pack was frayed really badly at both ends so as to be almost unsmokable. I took a different one that seemed to be better.
At first the draw was really tight, but massaging it a bit made it better.
The smoke was very, very mild in flavor. I could barely taste anything. A barely present sweetness and mild tobacco flavor. Inoffensive, but also boring and, in my opinion, not worth smoking. It reminded me of bland pipe tobacco. Paradoxically, it was somewhat harsh on the back of my throat.
The smoke smelled alright, a very mild pipe tobacco sweetness.
The ash formed fine and strong and it kept lit throughout the whole cheroot despite it's rough construction. No burn issues.
I suppose if the act of smoking something itself relaxes you, this could be an alright smoke, but if you desire flavor at all, there are probably a lot better cheroots and cigarillos out there for a similar price point.
