So I had a question because I've been to two shops now that can replicate but cant fix 😤
When I'm braking at speeds higher than 50MPH, I hear a thumping noise from the rear end of the car (sounds like it's rear passenger)
The rotors and pads are less than 10000 miles, the dealer due to warranty issues put the premium rotors and pads. Upon inspection they said they look about 70% still good on the pads.
Background story : after first purchase found a huge rumbling/shaking when braking at high speeds only after 1k miles. They replaced them and then there was a loud metallic scraping when braking only after 200 miles. Gave it another 300 to see if they maybe put cheaper pads, different materials etc on. And they ended up putting the better rotors and pads and that solved the issue about 10k miles ago.
I only preface the problem because I'm not familiar with chryslers, only really had fords and Toyotas.
Any advice to specifically mention onnthe next inspection to maybe hone in on the problem?
