So I was wondering to myself if there is some pokemon like STAB mechanics in this game.
For those who don't know STAB (same type attack bonus) in pokemon means when you use a move of the same type as a pokemon, it's more powerful. So is there any advantage to, for example, equipping Serge with white elements as opposed to any other color? Any reason I shouldn't have him use exclusively black elements if I so choose? Is using an element better for someone with the same color, or does it matter at all?
