My husband (30) suffers from chronic back and neck pain from an accident 10 years ago. The pain seems to get worse each year. He used to be able to work out and even lift. Lately, he's been smoking way too much weed and getting "the munchies". He's gained a few pounds. He also does not work out as much, due to the pain.
Do you have any suggestions for staying fit and healthy while experiencing chronic pain?
Keep veggie trays in the house! They are a godsend with the munchies. Filling, snackable, and low calorie. I also can do endless cardio when I smoke, especially on more "body" strains (which also treat the pain better). I wonderif a different strain would be more beneficial? Maybe suggest walks after smoking?
I personally force myself to work out every day even when I'm in pain because I know that it reduces my pain in the long run.
