I’ve been seeing my pain management doctor for 3 years and she’s absolutely amazing. She really advocates for me, and actually listens and believes me.. I’m just incredibly grateful because she has helped me SO much. But due to insurance issues (long story), she’s no longer covered under my insurance. She’s working to appeal the decision and I’m calling my insurance nearly every day, but who knows if any of this is going to work. It’s not looking good right now. She’s currently seeing me (and all of her other patients with this insurance) for free, but only until January 1st. Even IF this gets resolved, god only knows how long it will take. I’m fucking terrified. What am I going to do after January 1st? I’ve called around to a few doctors and couldn’t even find one who was willing to see me because apparently no one treats CRPS. I’m panicking and I just feel defeated. This is so fucked.
