I am currently taking (daily): - Zyrtec - Lyrica - Ceftriaxon (infusion) - Vitamin B & D and probiotic supplements
I’m at a good healthy weight. It’s been incredibly consistent for a year despite poor appetite. I spend most of my day lying in bed or sitting (or sitting in bed XD). I’m dx and being treated for Lyme disease, which has left my body riddled with chronic pain, issues and complications.
But, these past few weeks my gut health has taken a sharp decline. My appetite is worse than it’s ever been. I can’t stomach anything without feeling full, bloated, in pain, and nauseas.
Most days I eat around 600-700 calories. Some days I eat as little as 50 calories, and it never exceeds 1000 calories. Still, somehow, I have not lost any weight!!
I do not want to lose weight. I’m just boggled that I can eat so little and still maintain my weight. Is it the medications I’m taking? If I am able to eat more, will I start to gain weight? Is this much food actually enough to sustain me considering my sedentary lifestyle? I don’t think so, since I have just gotten weaker, dizzier and more unwell.
Has anyone else experienced this?
EDIT: I had the wrong medication lol
