hey folks! i've been diagnosed with CFS and fibro (which kind of means i've simply been diagnosed with "chronic illness" and not much else lol) and i frequently get red blotchy hot spots on my skin around certain joints. most frequently it's my knees and my fingers, and it's correlative to increased use of either of those joints. when it happens, my skin gets markedly redder and warmer in those spots, but i don't usually notice much swelling. i assume this is inflammation? but my doctors won't take me seriously about it so i thought i'd come here and check in: is this something i need to be actively concerned about or is it just another symptom? does anyone have tips and tricks for dealing with it? any other info that might be useful? whatever you've got is appreciated. thanks y'all!
