Chromecast Problems on Network

Post Body

Hi All,

I recently set up two Chromecasts in my apartment - one first-gen and one w/ Google Tv.

The Chromecast w/ Google TV is set up and allows me to watch anything natively through Google TV, but isn't showing up in my cast devices nor is it appearing in my Google Home app.

The first-gen shows up in my Google Home app, but is always not available, even when on the same network, and does not show up on other device's cast destinations.

I've checked my router's admin panel and didn't see any settings that prohibit casting, but haven't noticed any settings that would prohibit casting/devices networking. Then again, I know next to nothing about networking, since I avoided those classes during uni.

Any ideas/recommendations? It's pretty frustrating having two Chromecasts that I can't cast to.
