Chromecast pauses on phone lock

I was wondering if anyone else started to experience this. If I am using my android phone and casting a video from Chrome to my Chromecast on my TV. Then lock my phone the video pauses. If I close the tab then lock my phone no pause. This only started about one month ago. If anyone has a solution it would be greatly appreciated.
