Hi all,
I previously posted about my new CCU not working with my 4k HDMI switch. I got some very helpful responses, including ones from Psychoacer and Farptr who advised that the switch or receiver interfacing with the CCU had to be HDCP 2.2 compliant, which my previous switch wasn't. After shopping around using this new information, I found the Monoprice Blackbird 4K Pro 3x1 HDMI Switch with HDCP 2.2 Support, which has so far worked perfectly for me.
The device is very cheap and does keep the CCU at 2160p/60. However, you should know that, per the reviews about the product, it is apparently just an HDMI 1.4b device with HDCP 2.2 qualifiers to I guess "trick" the CCU into being compliant. This may deter you, but it is sufficient for me and I am happy with it.
I hope this helps someone as much as it did me! And thanks again for the responses, Redditors!
