This would be a great Sci-fi theme to explore. Christopher Nolan has perfected the bending of space in Inception (also time), time in Tenet (with crazy things happening to space), both space and time in Interstellar. How Nolan bends the fabric of spacetime is with gravity, and in his films we can see how he manipulates cinema as an artistic medium to capture the artificial yet still phenomenological experience of a fictional reality. But since that alternative paradigm can be experienced in the proxy way we call watching a movie, and he does it so masterfully well, Nolan really does let us experience situations as if we were really the Protagonist of the narrative.
Now, imagine a villain capable of harnessing gravity as a utilizable resource. The possibilities and potential for cinematic achievement are endless.
