Struggling Christian here.... yes, I do have a relationship with God, it's just that I am finding out that it feels strained and distant now since coming back after a period of backsliding. I have given up quite a few sinful things, but I still struggle with some sins. And honestly, I want to be closer to God and be a better follower of Jesus, it's just I feel so distant from God. I do still pray everyday, but I will admit that I slacked off on reading Bible and attending church... sometimes I have no desire to do those things, unfortunately. I do still feel conviction of sins, and feel guilt over my backsliding. Anybody got any advice on getting right with God? Yes, I have accepted Jesus as my Saviour... also I have been baptized 4 times. I still pray everyday, and yes I ask for forgiveness ans for God to help me change!
