Hello, I’m male, 31yrs old and I’ve been having conflicting feelings when it comes to seeking companionship for quite a while now.

     Long story short, I’ve been hurt many times and I’ve hurt others as a result before too. Now I’m at this weird intersection where a part of me wants to find someone but the other part of me thinks it’s pointless now. 

     Too many times I’ve searched and failed and even if I tried again, I still feel like I should just be alone. But the hard part of that is the occasional loneliness and feeling that there’s no one who’d accept me now. 

     I’m not really sure how to proceed from here. Any advice is much appreciated and welcome,
