The deborah number is a number that is used in material science to quantify the phenomenom that any material, even solids, can be observed to flow like liquids if the observation time is long enough.
It is named after a bible verse from deborah that says: "the mountains flowed before the lord". It is named after this verse due to the fact that the aforementioned phenomenom would cause mountains to actually flow before god, since he would be able to observe them over long enough time spans for them to exhibit fluid behaviour.
