Why would we get angry at immigrants who escape their country due to extreme violence when Mary and Joseph did the same thing to protect baby Jesus?

God calls people to migration all the time. Abraham moved from Ur to Huran, Canaan and Egypt. David was the descendant of an immigrant and fled his own borders. And let’s not even get started with the apostles after Stephen’s execution.

Our citizenship is in heaven

Edit, since the post is still blowing up: I love immigrants, legal or illegal. This doesn’t mean I don’t see that we have an immigration problem. Reform is needed. I don’t mind if Christian’s disagree on immigration policies. I just wish we would agree that we’d see and treat them as children of God- because they are.
