Rant.
I love this subreddit, I really do. Met some really honest, seeking people all over the Christian and non-Christian spectrum.
But y’all need to start reading actual BOOKS. By theologians, philosophers, etc. One question I see a lot is “why is the universe so expansive if God (fill in the blank).” Good, honest question. But I would think it’s obvious that that sort of question cannot be appropriately answered as a short Reddit comment. I didn’t know the answer, so I picked up a book by Hugh Norman Ross, who is an astrophysicist and Christian apologist. I’m not saying through this book I will find all the answers to this question but it is a DAMN sight better than Reddit comments.
I’m not saying we shouldn’t ask anything. It just seems to me, from my experience here, people are usually either posting questions purely to seek reaffirming beliefs, or thinking cosmic-level questions can be answered with relative ease and simplicity.
I don’t even know what I’m quite getting at here if I’m being honest. Take book suggestions into consideration, please. Love ya guys. Even those who will undoubtedly try to roast me in the comments lol.
