Ps this is a cross-post from r/atheism, did not know how to crostpost so i just copy and pasted. My language is a bit up there for the average christian but bear with me. Because i would like any viable answers you can give me.
For a real world example, its like how people say trump didnt incite the capitol riots, despite the fact he egged em on, and did the complete opposite of trying anything to stop it. Sure he didnt personally try to overthrow the capitol building, but he was a heavy contribution to it.
Sorry to get political and maybe that was a terrible analogy, but trump has the benefit of the doubt that he cant see the future nor is he all powerful. But god is all powerful and can see the future.
So he had every capability of preventing satan from becoming evil, unless he either didnt know he would (but that contradicts the all powerful omnipotent thing) so the only reasonable logic according to bible canon is he choose not too for some reason.
Which when brought up people say god works in "mysterious ways" or "he has a plan". See the mysterious ways thing doesnt make sense, because he's all powerful, he can work in any way, and to say he couldnt figure things without satan existing or causing billions of horrifying deaths is blasphemous by all reasonable logic.
And the he has a plan thing doesnt make much sense either, because it just sounds like a bad plan. If the plan leads to billions more like trillions suffering for max 110 years, clearly its a questionable plan.
