Why do Christians cry heresy that God will save almost everyone?
Post Body

I am a Christian and have studied the topic of Hell for several years. Hell is not eternal torment and you can be saved after death. The majority of humanity will go to outer darkness and will be saved after the judgement. Jesus died for everyone that ever lived, otherwise wouldn't his sacrifice mean nothing if only less than 10% of humanity would be saved? If God relied on humans to spread the gospel in order to save only those who heard it then what about those who have not heard it? They will get a chance after death, then what's the point of evangelizing? If no one hears it then everyone will be saved.

The point is that God redeemed everyone and defeated the devil who only has power on Earth. Most Christians believe that the devil is more powerful than God Almighty but won't admit it. Sin is so powerful that God can't be around it (even though He gave us the choice). I believe that God loves us so much that He can and will forgive you even after our short blip of existance relative to eternity. God gives us the choice to go to heaven or to cease existing by going to Hell. I can't imagine anyone wanting to leave God but there are people that hate God that much (that they would rather die than be with their creator) because of the actions of Christians.

Eternal life is eternal, hell is not. Even Jesus said that the devil can destroy the soul. It seems to me that Christians want people to go to Hell, or invent a place that no one would want to go to in order to scare kids into submission.

This is the best news there can possibly be yet Christians can't accept the fact that God loves everyone more than we can fathom. It must be too good to be true.
