There is this teaching going around that "God gave the Coronavirus because he is angry with people's sin".

But they did not receive Him, because His face was set for the journey to Jerusalem. And when His disciples James and John saw this, they said, “Lord, do You want us to command fire to come down from heaven and consume them, just as Elijah did?” But He turned and rebuked them, and said, “You do not know what manner of spirit you are of. For the Son of Man did not come to destroy men’s lives but to save them. ” And they went to another village.

~ Luke 9:53‭-‬56

These so called preachers don't know what manner of spirit they are of.

Teaching such things is preaching another gospel, another Jesus. He never once gave a disease to anyone when he was on earth, not once. He only went about healing and curing people of their disease.

Remember, where sin increased there Grace increased much more. Not disease or God's wrath.

Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound
