Wanting to know Christ in a personal way

Hi. I’m 21. I would love To believe in god. But just can’t feel him. Can’t hear him talking to me. Could you all give me some advice and bibles versus and say a prayer for me to help me knock down whatever wall is keeping me from hearing him. Thanks.
