I tried to write this as unbiased and non-partisan as possible. We are all God’s children before we are Americans, Democrats, Republicans, or Independents.

Dear Father,

Thank you for being with us today and for all the blessings you have brought to our lives. We pray to you the day after the election and ask you to lift up Donald Trump and allow him to be a vessel for your work to be done on earth. Give him wisdom and guidance in times of need. Help him be a leader to a nation of your people.

Father, some of your people are hurting and fearful today of what the next four years could bring. We ask that you lift them up and comfort them, and reassure them that nothing is done without your design. Allow their faith to grow stronger with you, let them know you see all and only you know what plans you have for America. Our Kings and Presidents are tiny and insignificant compared to you. Be with your people Lord and remind them to always act as messengers for you and your Word. May we come together and love each other as you have instructed, and honor you and offer praise in everything that we do.
