In my experience, Trinitarians fall into one of two groups.
Those in the first group say that the doctrine is simply a mystery beyond comprehension. We can affirm it, but can't explain it.
In the other group are people who aren't mystified, but they misunderstand the doctrine. They compare God to ice/water/steam or to a man who is a father/son/husband.
I'm just wondering if any of you Trinitarians fall outside of these two groups: you hold the orthodox view but don't think it's incomprehensible. If so, how do you describe/explain it to others?
