I'm not a fan of Christian music, does that make me a bad Christian?
Post Body

So I’ve really given liking Christian music the ol’ college try, but for the life of me I don’t like it. There’s only a few artists I enjoy listening to (Steven Curtis Chapman and Mandisa), but other than that I’m just not a fan and feel like I’ve designated a button in my car to the local Christian radio out of obligation. I agree with the message of the music, but it’s too slow or alternative sounding, which I don’t like.

I worship in other ways, but I feel like this makes me a bad Christian sometimes, especially when I’d rather listen to commercials than a super slow Christian song during rush hour.

Also, does anyone have any upbeat Christian music they’d recommend? I've listened to Steven Curtis Chapman so much that I'm almost getting tired of it.
