so a while ago i was homeless in vancouver.( for the record i was raised catholic but today to be 100% honest i follow my own complex beliefs.) these 3 missionaries from the mormon church appeared and my curiosity got me cuz ive always wanted to read there bible but my mom always yelled blasphemy when i got my hands on one ( jokes on her shes an athiest now). anyways so i go over to there church to sit with the missionaries twice. the third time they started asking aif id like to get baptiszed ( this is where i almost exploded on them but im respectful to everyone and their beliefs) so we all talked about baptism. then they bring up this term i know no other church does! if read the bible front to back multipul times its not even mentioned! and witchcraft is a sin so im sure necromancy is too black magick and its sorts. they mention whats called proxy baptism where when i get baptized my deceased ancestors all get baptized. who gave them that authority thats kinda out their aint it. i dunno i dont belive they have any sort of right doing that and it should be considered some kind of i dunno what. but dead or alive. u have the right to your own belifs and a christian denominaton has no right baptizing dead relatives. expecially when those passed had already lived their lives and made their choises regarding spiritual and religious beliefs right? i thought id ask other opinions on this subject
