Right now there is an anti-abortion rally going on in Washington. The men in my church chat are praising this rally right now as it happens. I have strong (different) opinions on women’s rights and even stronger opinions about Trump’s agenda. I want to call myself Christian but I’m just not the anti-vax, homeschooling, gay-hating, rapture is coming, keep women in the kitchen kind of person. I’m not even convinced that prayer works for people. I keep running into this at church and although I keep silent, I can’t force myself to buy into something I feel strongly against. Maybe I can’t call myself Christian.
