I grew up going to a Methodist church, when I was around 15, I stopped going to church as a whole but I still have faith, I read the bible occasionally and I pray everyday. My boyfriend (he is a member of Church of Christ) and I have been together for about 7 years and the other day I asked a few questions because he is going to be proposing within the next year. My questions were 1. What if I don't want to go to church 2. What if I want to go to a Methodist church? 3. What about our future children?

His answer to these questions upset me a lot. He said Church of Christ is the only way to go, all of the other denominations are going to hell. He also said my parents are going to hell because Church of Christ believes divorce and remarrying is wrong unless someone cheats or passes away. It really upset me because he started talking about my family and how they were going to hell. Does the bible say anything about this? Can members of Church of Christ confirm or deny this?
