TLDR: Where does an atheist go to involve himself more in Christianity?
Hi! So I'm a nonbeliever and a deeply secular person in general blah blah blah. However, I'm very interested in the Bible and Christianity in general, not from a religious perspective of course, but mainly from moral, literary, philosophical, and cultural perspectives.
My question is, where would someone like me go to find Christians or Christian groups who would be accepting of me? I recently showed up to a Church that turned out to be quite cult-like and seemed to only care about me insofar as they viewed me as a future believer - which I'm quite certain I will never be. Are there any good churches or groups or even just places where I can meet individual people who might be more openminded and accepting of me despite our differing worldviews, specifically with people closer to my age group (25)? I'm just out here trying to analyse the Bible and maybe socialise a bit and it's turning out to be very difficult lol
