Being certain that the Bible is infallible is contradictory to our faith - for the love of God, it’s called “faith”.

I’m sure I will regret making this post.

I have been called the worst things a Christian can hear. Demonic, possessed, spreading lies, a disgrace to Christianity. All because i have come to grips with the fact that the Bible, yes, was written by men.

I adore the Scriptures. I read them daily. I take them very seriously. There is much wisdom in them. Still, they are made by men. They are flawed men giving testimonies about a God they know exists but not at all sure how He functions. And that is okay.

We read and respect countless Christian writers from 80 A.D- 2023. The people who wrote and compiled the Bible are potentially no more holy or correct than the most brilliant apologists of the past 1900 years.

I’m not sure why I’m writing this. I just hope there is at least one Christ-minded friend that understands how I feel.
