I LOVE CHRISTMAS! I grew up in a small rural community where Christmas was a way that you suddenly gave up your old life, and for one month out of the year, you were all in for the celebration and observance of our Lord's birth. From the first decoration, to the Midnight Christmas Eve service, to Christmas morning, the unwrapping of presents, and the Christmas Feast. I live for and love the Christmas holiday season.

This post is not addressing my usual sexually oriented topics. It's just a request...

Take a minute, now. Right now. And reflect. Reflect on your family. Reflect on all of the wonderful Christmas' past, even if a few Christmas' past had a few stressful problems for you. Just pause...

Take a deep breath.

And pray...

Dearest Heavenly Father, thank You for the gift of Christmas where we reflect upon, celebrate, and worship the birthday of Christ, Your Son, our Lord. Help me find the peace and joy of this season. Give me the courage to tell everyone I meet, "Merry Christmas". Give me the courage to reach out to Friends and Family with whom I have kept at a distance for too long. Help me to remember, that my joy in life starts today. In the name of Christ, our Lord who's birth we celebrate in this winter solstice.
