Rightly Dividing Biblical Clarity and Alignment with the LS.

Post Body

I wrote this in response to a post that has sense been deleted but I hope it might find value with those seeking answers in the Bible. There is NO verse in the Bible that supports the LS. The Bible is a purpose built compendium of documents that smart, prayed up people found with merit to support the intent. The OT is the focus of compiling documents of God’s people that was necessary for Monks and preachers to convey a single origin and focus of the Coming Christ. The NT is very different.

The NT was put together because the Romans were becoming more and more Christ followers but no one definition existed so a council of Nicea was formed by the Emperor. This council focused on seeking through countless documents to find continuity with the OT and define the Christ’s coming and His story through the life of the Apostles. The rules were to discard any document that was not wholly contiguous and related with the majority themes. For example the Number 4 is important because of Its significance in Psalms so the 4 Gospels were selected. Most of the Romans grew up on Paul’s perception of God and Christ though he never met Him. This only one Gospel connects to Paul. A large majority of the rest of the selected documents were related to Paul and Barnabus’ journey and others they met. The relation back to Peter and the Apostles follow the story back to when Paul and Barnabus went separate ways. Many of the books not selected, AKA Apocrapha, were following the original apostles’ journeys. It is to be noted, if you have read Apocrapha, the continuity of these stories is not to the same par standard.

Why would a Emperor need a clean Christian message. Why form the council? The answer lies in his role as an Emperor and ruler to the people. The Emperor had chaos in the ranks as Centurions did not have a focused religion so their motivations were different. This NT will align all Roman people to Christianity, restore order amount the ranks, and build sanity amount the Senate and the people.

Did Rome want the people to seek multiple partners for sex? No! The Roman law was to have only one spouse at a time. The construct of sex outside marriage was reserved for brothels to relieve the poison while a wife was unable to serve. However it is to note, the Roman ladies were permitted to work in select brothels after hours.

So let’s tie this together. There is no passage that would relate to anything like sex outside marriage as Paul chose to be celebabt and staged a man should only marry so not to spill his seed. Further Roman Law had to align with the Council’s decision to establish Canon NT. So if you are seeking an answer in the bible, you will only find it by perverting the context. But if you seek God and know him, he will give you answers. Very much like Peter telling God the food was unclean. It is quite probable that God can choose to be God.

Finally, I view the Bible as God inspired and the wisdom assays us in our path. It is not an instruction guide nor is it a set of rules. It’s a book of hope and wisdom e to know there is something more than our senses can comprehend. However this Godly breathed, inspired word was constructed with a man’s purpose that I believe was In God’s will.
