There isn't really a case for Christians Swinging, there isn't a justification, and there isn't a passage or interpretation of a passage, or even a interpretation of an interpretation that would support a case for Christians to engage in Recreational Sex. And if you were to engage the doctrinal dogma, you will hear dozens of cases against Christians engaging in recreational sex and often this comes with a lot of vitriol. To some, a man engage in recreational sex is a sin and a woman engaging in recreational sex is an unforgivable sin and she must be a horrible person and a whore.
So why this post?
For me this post signifies the beginning of an important debate. You might think that this debate is about whether sex outside of marriage is a sin or not. That debate is raging all over the Internet and will not be resolved in our lifetime if ever.
The debate is whether or not Swinging or Recreational Sex is a positive or negative experience for Christians. The parallel argument is whether or not Christians can have a positive impact on those engaging in Recreational Sex and the Swinging Lifestyle.
I / we are Christians. We have a deeply held belief in Christ as our Savior. And we are committed participants in the lifestyle of having recreational sex with others. We believe that our Christian up-bring, value system, and faith, as well as the adherence to the Great Commandment, allow us to have a positive impact on the lifestyle and those participating in it. Conversely, the lifestyle has continuously improved our sexual lifestyle, our exploration of sex, and allowed us to experience a sexual freedom and sensual adventure.
So herein this posting, let's explore this case and for a moment set aside the sin-not-sin dialog.
