I've found many parallels in testimony of NDE (Near Death Experience) with gospel, obviously. As well as incredible additional detail which has so many parallels to an (after) life of expanded love.

Interestingly, many accounts seem to conflict with the common religious/church views, around the persons who are considered "worthy", and the necessary "things" one must do to be permitted entry to heaven. Some of the most amazing accounts of heaven, and God, and Jesus, have been given by former atheists!

A good entry into these accounts is a book: "Imagine Heaven". Also in my opinion the term "Near Death Experience" is terribly inaccurate - in reality these accounts seem to be more of a "Real Life Experience". My belief aligns with a quote, "We are all spiritual beings having a human experience."
