I am often asked what I like sexually. My common reply is "Dutch Apple Pie with Vanilla Bean Ice Cream". Ideally fresh from the oven and still warm. (BTW - Perkin's Pies are my Fav!).

Odd answer I know.

This subreddit is not really a place to describe sexual encounters, and our stewardship of this topic is not about the sexual turn-on. It's about how we deal with the complexities of sexual feelings, behaviors, experiences, and even horrific experiences within the experience defined by our Christianity.

As with the Dutch Apple Pie, my sexual experiences give me great pleasure, amazing sensations, unique bonding with friends, and curious adventures with my husband and others.

Too many people, governments, and religions believe that you should pro-create and then forget sex as if those sexual feelings and urges disappear when you have had your appropriate 2.5 children. God made us perfectly and part of that perfection is an enjoyment of sex.

Do I enjoy all sex? No. But I enjoy a wide range of sexual experiences. But then again, I also enjoy that hot apple pie. But I don't enjoy sex in the morning when I am hung-over... (I hope my dear husband is reading this tonight). I don't enjoy sex that is painful or does not bring me pleasure. Though I admit there are things I don't find exactly pleasurable but they are reciprocal, so those are in my bucket of sexual fun. Example - 69 is fantastic but 9 or 6 alone, much less so - but I still enjoy 9 & 6, I just like 69 best of all.

Which brings me to the final topic - my husband. Being in the lifestyle, we talk a LOT about sex. This is good for those who are not in the lifestyle. He knows what I enjoy and I know what he trips him into orbit. We also know that likes and dislikes can change and being in the lifestyle, we learn new things from others. Just like we keep each other informed about work, the kids, the house, and all of the other things which impact our lives, we take the time to specifically talk about what we like sexually... and of course...

I will be sending him to Marie Calendars tonight because I suddenly have the urge for a slice of Hot Dutch Apple Pie with a scope of Vanilla Bean Ice Cream.
