Physical Description of myself: I am 5'8", on the bigger side with muscles, I sport a mustache, work out six days a week, dark brown hair, dark brown eyes, and darker complexion for a Caucasian. Due to my military background I tend to have more muscle than I appear but still carrying more weight than I would like! Tacos are delicious! =D

I am a member of the Air National Guard and work as an engineer in my professional/day job. I have a masters degree in Geography/GIS and want to work towards an Engineering degree or even my PhD in the future. I work as a defense contractor when I am not on orders with the military. It is a great and for filling line of work for me. Gives me meaning and purpose! Sadly for my job, I am traveling quite a bit and go to exotic locations... sometimes I can tell you about them and other times I cannot!

I am a bit of a nerd. I enjoy Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, Fantasy, grim dark, Sci-fi, games, books, and all kinds of different things related to those genres. I also enjoy history/geography, maps, religious studies/philosophical debates, learning about science, listening to pod casts, sociology, psychology... the general social sciences in a broad spectrum haha. I want to learn to play the bass guitar or piano/keyboard and learn at least one foreign language. I love learning if you cannot tell! Recommend me a good book, podcast, or biblical online series and I will add it to my que.

I grew up in the Methodist Church when I was younger. Sadly my family was not very stable and it did not really take very well. My family was more "Sunday morning Christians" and I could not understand this weird concept of going out getting inebriated Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights doing wild/party like things only to wake up and go to Church on Sundays. As a kid it did not compute with me... so I left the church as soon as I could and walked away from the faith seeing how I was treated during my own testimony and bible readings compared to others.

I embraced Gnosticism and Buddhism for a time seeking the "Truth". I was first turned onto Church of Christ or some form of Orthodoxy around this time 20 years ago. I spent some time studying at an Orthodox Monastery in PA for a time/learning from the community while working on my masters. But I went back home and fell away from it. I eventually found my way into a Church of Christ congregation thanks to my friends and was baptized into the faith 10 years ago. I have struggled staying in the congregation and within the faith, but I leaned into Orthodoxy more and more until I finally started attending services two years ago. I consider myself more Miaphysite Mystic Christian than anything... but Orthodoxy sings close to my soul. I do my own bible readings, have spoken up at churches before and been asked to leave for asking hard questions. I do not drink spiritual milk but eat spiritual meat to seek the Truth... Christ our Lord. Right now, Orthodoxy seems the service and feeling that gives me the most connection to Christ.

I am seeking my future wife. Someone who I can start a family with, settle down together to have 5-7 children. A huge/large family that we can raise into Christ the lord our God. I prefer someone younger who can help with this vision. Someone hard working and can handle me being gone on military deployments from time to time with only moderate support from family or support structures outside of Gods Church. Obviously being one year away from 40, I am a bit more seriously focused on this and expect the same from my future wife. If I had to give a hard age range: 18-32. Obviously the older you get, the harder it is to have children... as long as the spirit is willing to have that many, I am okay with older than 32, just know it will have to be something we start quickly. I am also okay with adopting one or two children that you might have brought into the relationship, but I strongly desire biological children! Ultimately, getting married, living in a semi-rural/rural area/suburbs, and raise our family is my long term goal.

I am okay with long distance and making it work. Due to the nature of my employment, I am sort of stuck/limited to about a 300 mile radius around my military posting. Basically, you will have to come to me. It would make things 100% easier if you lived on the North American continent: USA, Canada, Mexico, Panama, ect. due to.. reasons I can discuss in private. Europe would also probably be okay along with Australia, New Zealand, Japan, or Philippines. You would have to come to me however at least for the start! Don't have a lot of say in that!
