Pray for me brothers and sisters that the fire of God will stay lit inside of me. I need to get into the word more I get distracted by other things. I love to play video games but I never want to open my bible. How do you get a desire to open it? I have been praying daily for God not to leave me here and take me in the Rapture. I pray for a fire and hunger to read his word. But I start getting carried away with things of this world, specifically video games. I start thinking about how I'm going to level my character up and what I need to do to get there when I know I need to level up my spiritual life. I wish I woke up every morning excited to pray and excited to read but it has never felt more like a chore than it has recently. I dont want it to feel like a chore I want it to be exciting.
