How do you feel about listening to the Bible or devotionalsā¦

I was talking to a friend saying they like to listen to the Bible and while everything works differently for everyone Iāve always noticed when I am listening instead of having my Bible physically in front of me My mind wonders so much moreā¦ it becomes background noise which isnāt a bad thing because Iāve heard sermons saying to replay the sermon or listen to scripture as you sleepā¦ what are your thoughts?
