I’ve had a cursory awareness of Chris since about 2017, but didn’t really begin to research christory in earnest until after he was arrested for r*ping Barb. But recently with changes in my personal life and RAPID changes in the world at large, I consume Chris related content because it brings me comfort in a strange way. I can hardly watch the news anymore about world events it has become so dreadful. War, economic crisis, AI.

For me, researching christory has almost become sort of a coping mechanism because it helps me harken back to a time when the world seemed a lot more fun and a lot less full of existential terror. The 2000s and early 2010s were a much more lighthearted and joyful time compared to this. I was only 6-7 years old when Chris started to gain notoriety on the internet so I wasn’t really aware of Chris for the majority of christory, but I still remember the time with joy.
