So, that may sound a little odd for choosing beggars, but I think it belongs here...
Around 4 to 5 years ago, I was playing World of Warcraft and they had this feature during Christmas that you can buy wrapping paper in the game and wrap your loot/stuff in it to make it a present, which you could also trade to other players. I thought of it as a really nice feature and wanted to give out as many presents as my bags could hold (was transferring back and forth to other characters and bank to make sure to have at least 50 presents set). Now, I didn't want just to give out gold (the currency in the game) as you could not wrap it, but I wrapped things that you could sell for gold, which ranged from 2-1000 gold per present. I placed myself at the main city (where every character, except the other faction of course, could come to) and wrote a message in the world chat, that I am giving out one present for each character, who comes to that place and starts trading with me. The presents were gone in like 10 minutes and some really liked the idea and even gave me presents back... And then there were some, who complained about that the presents are not worth anything, even tried to shame me in the world chat, saying that it's worthless crap I am giving out and not worth even coming to that place to get one or me being a bitch for not giving actual gold.
Well, I just liked the idea of giving Christmas presents in the game and wanted to put a smile on people's faces. I am thankful for the nice comments and appreciation I received that day from most of the players :)
