Homeschool family trying to find a rentee

How are you supposed to pay for gas and other personal items if youre not actually being paid and most likely wont have time for another job since you'll be babysitting

Yes it's for liberty university

And having to commute every day to school, gas costs will add up and you have no actual income 💀 but hey at least you'll get a cabin to share eventually, who knows when. She tried defending the post in the comments by saying you'd essentially be paid 13.75 an hour

It's a lot of rules that liberty university makes their students follow. Like no drinking, a curfew, no opposite sex in dorms, dress code etc

Gays don't exist 🙄

[not loaded or deleted]

Exactly 😭 you'd have to leave early every morn to commute to classes then come back immediately since you'd have to come home to work. No income, nothing around your area, you wouldn't have time for social life

I want to so bad because the guy who posted it is getting so mad at people calling him out 😭 he said gen z is just too ignorant and called me junior. I wanna post them but don't wanna dox myself or anyone else 😭

I didn't consider that, I mean they are homeschooled and out in the country so that's definitely a possibility

Minimum wage here is $12 and you'd be making less than that if you already have a car

[not loaded or deleted]

No exactly, the mom isn't going to be cooking you breakfast, lunch, and dinner everyday, 300 is pretty high

Liberty University rules, best to just look it up

1100 a month but working 20 hours a week and that's if you need the car. Only 800 a month if you already have a car. It does not equal out to 55 an hour it's either 13.75 or 10. Virginia minimum wage is 12

Im a senior in college, I'm working two jobs I think Ik how expensive and hard life is. I've been burnt out of bad jobs and Ik what to recognize. I can assume they've gotten no applicants because the post reads that the cabin will tentatively be finished being built in March 2023 and theyve reposted the same image a few times including like today. They haven't found anyone for it in months and the guy posting it is lashing out and being hostile in the comments so he's clearly not getting positive feedback or any applicants. It says 20 hours a week but the work responsibilities are too broad, no consistent schedule I'm sure, and no actual pay rate. They could make you however long they want you to and do whatever and hold the room and board and car deal over your head since youre not actually being given any money for your work. And sure you're paying for board but do you expect the family to be making you breakfast, lunch, and dinner everyday in the same way that a meal plan at a university would be like? Even more so since the dad is gone most days 😭300 is a lot for not knowing exactly what youre getting food wise. It's just an overall shady and broad deal and you could definitely get trapped. Also not to mention the 35 minute commute and living in the middle of the country 💀

It says rent 500 per month, board 300 per month. And you'd be working 20 hours a week

Wth do you get 55 an hour 😭 and you're not even actually being paid so it doesn't matter
