CU is acting up now that the weather changed
Post Body

So I'm 29 and I've been blessed with CU and I live in mthrfckn Texas of all places. I've been dealing with this hell on earth since around highschool. It comes and goes randomly I feel like. Surprisingly enough though this year from about April up until just a few days ago, any and all symptoms have vanished. You don't know how happy I've been. I went swimming a few times throughout the summer. Played volleyball running all over the place just because I finally could. I laid in the grass in the middle of July in TEXAS on a cloudless day and just closed my eyes and enjoyed the warmth on my body. For the first time I got to experience what tanning feels like and it was awesome.

I deliver packages for work (it's decent money and as long as I have a jug of water and the AC on blast, I can usually make it through the day without suffering too much) so I'm constantly moving around and running up and down stairs, lifting heavy boxes, exerting more energy than I'd like to. And like I said, this summer has been heavenly for me but the weather has gone from 80°-100° to around 50°-60° the last few days and lo and behold, here comes my CU creeping back into my life.

All summer long, I've been sweating which doesn't happen for me too often. But now that it's colder, my body decides it doesn't need to sweat anymore so it's back to my daily torment. Just wondering if anyone else has or is going through a similar situation. Because I am honestly frightened for the next segment of my life. And does anyone have any advice or solutions?

I know my body can sweat (when it wants to) so I'm low-key tempted to start running a couple miles daily on the treadmill or something to induce sweating and keep my sweat glands or whatever active. There's gotta be a wall that once I pass, I start sweating and stop itching right?

Also the only medicine I've taken for this is Benadryl. I took two pills every morning and it was honestly a boon from heaven but being Benadryl, I have to fight to stay awake and it's just not safe for me to be driving around all day. So I stopped taking it and even before I stopped, I could feel my tolerance building. It just wasn't safe. Any OTC suggestions? Or suggestions in general really. I am terrified now that it's back.
