It is Ms. Match for me (never would've thought it'd be a romance focus story 😂)
I am 2 years late in playing since the launch of Ms. Match but this 2 days spent already tells that this book will remain in my heart for life.
This was the one story
~ that I had no intention of viewing the diamond choices in walk through, but instead want to experience it myself
~ which I had selected every diamond choice I come across without any hesitation (except for clothing)
~ which made me teared up at the final chapter
~ which I have every intention to replay it every so often to relive my mc and Jack/Jacqueline's love (and their witty comments and pranks)
Does that mean I love everything about the story? No. The competition didn't need to exist given how strong of a successor Jack/Jaqueline could be. I wish my mc could've shown more understanding of LI's decision in chapter 12 and 13. I disagreed with LI's statement of how they work better as rivals.
Despite these, the writing was beautiful. The gradual connection and them slowly falling in love in ech chapter as they see glimpse of each other's life and how it shaped them to be the person they are... And the sex scenes compliments the story telling of their love as well. And each choice cost about ~17 diamonds?? How worth it.
This. Is how you write a story with a sole love interest. Too bad Jennifer Helen Allaway, the creative lead for Ms. Match has moved on from Choices. Luckily she was also part of the team that wrote Endless Summer book 3 and The Heist so at least can see more of her writing.
So... Do you all have any choices stories that spoke to you as well?
