So about 5 or 6 weeks ago I blew my back out enough to finally take it seriously and get everything looked at. I went to a chiropractor and got x rays and turns out I have some significant damage. Worst being bone on bone and arthritis in my lower back, followed by twisted and uneven hips and the curve in my neck is gone with early on set arthritis. Im only 32 so this all kind of sucks.
So with the few other times I had blown my back out, after a couple weeks everything is pretty much fine and the pain goes away.
Not this time though and the only difference is going to the chiropractor this time. At first I was really feeling better and had great hopes for my treatment but now im really in pain again.
Before my appointment yesterday I out of no where experienced popping and grinding in my lower back followed by a lot of now constant pain.
I bring these things up and am just told its “retracing” and my pain is brushed off and only comforted by a brochure on retracing. It doesn’t seem to have a lot of scientific support but rather just a theory.
Is anyone else familiar with this term or have any experience with retracing?
