I'm learning just to enjoy the media, in particular ç†ŠçŒ«å ‚ProducePanda's music. I was going to use Zhuyin because I wanted more accurate pronunciation guides, but it seems this is scarcely used outside of Taiwanese media. Should I use Pinyin then?
I can't decide whether to learn the traditional script or simplified. I already know about 1000 kanji from Japanese, so I wanted to go for traditional as they more closely resemble kanji, but I'm not sure since simplified Chinese is more common.
Any advice would be appreciated.
