Topic-subtopic-comment structure?

Hi all, I came across this sentence in one of ChinesePod's dictionary entries: "行了！我们废话少说，用事实说话"
I was curious about the structure 我们 (topic), 废话 (sub-topic ?), 少说 (comment). Am I correct in analyzing the sentence this way, with multiple topics to explain the weird word order? Is this structure often used in Chinese? I feel like I've also seen it in sentences like "你中文说得很好", is this the same thing?
