India's situation. 0.1 cases per million population. Something doesn't add up.

I've a strong hunch that India is fucked. I don't understand how the numbers are so low. Every reported number.

I've identified two possible reasons: - Underreporting ( Given the population, the government will go nuts over trying to control the panic, should the real numbers be informed to the public) - Insufficient testing (Again, given the huge population numbers, the 100k test kits are in no way sufficient)

I feel like India is caught in a similar situation as many other nations, but the gravity and the repercussions of the situation seem very grim to me.

Most people are being denied tests. The criteria for tests is simple: you should have traveled abroad or you are aware of a contact with somebody who's tested positive. That's fucked up.
